Dirty Old World

The air is dirty. The water is dirty, too.
Ain't nothing any dirtier than the dirt sticking to the bottom of your shoe.
Books got dirty. Movies got dirty, as you all know.
The song I'm singing right here. This song right here is dirty enough to hoe.

It's a dirty old world. Let's me and you get dirty too.

Dirty little hands, dirty little feet, see all them dirty little children
Play their dirty little games at the end of dirty little streets.
Dirty old daddies swap dirty old magazines while their dirty old wives stay home.
Watch dirty old soaps, have dirty old dreams.

It's a dirty old world. Let's me and you get dirty too.

Reach out and touch someone in a latex rendezvous.
Sanitize. Maybe one day we'll immunize.
Such clean little lies for such a dirty, dirty, dirty old world.

The Good Book says, and I believe it's true.
Adam was made out of clay. That means me and you, too.
Soak, scrub, use your apricot cream.
You're gonna leave this world just dirty as can be.

It's a dirty old world. Let's me and you get dirty, too.
